The day before the Advisory Board meeting, the Sta4SWAP partners met in Milano to evaluate the work done so far and kick of the next line of work.
On 29 September, Piaggio welcomed the Stan4SWAP partners at their premises in Milano. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the results we have delivered so far in the project which include both an analysis of the technical and market state of the art as well as an analysis of the state of the art concerning regulation and standardization.
The meeting also offered the opportunity to discuss the ongoing work regarding the needs for swappable battery systems deployment. To this end, Fraunhofer, who leads the task, has interviewed actors on the vehicle side, as well as at the side of charging stations and infrastructure, in addition to battery manufacturers and users.
About to start is also the work on pre-normative research, which will be led by SWOBBEE with a kick of meeting next months.
All of these exercises will contribute to developing the roadmap for standardization which will be a key result of the project and is expected finalized November next year.
