On 14 January Stan4SWAP had its first review meeting in Brussels and took the opportunity to visit the VUB Battery lab.
As it is procedure, we had this week our first review meeting with the European Commission. Taking advantage that all partners were in Brussels for this occasion, Stan4SWAP partner VUB offered a visit to their lab. An initiative we extended to the Polis Network as well as to ACEm, the association of the European motorcycle industry. The visit was an opportunity to look at the mobility and battery sector beyond our project and discuss with relevant stakeholders the important piece for the decarbonization of the transport sector which we aim to put together with the Stan4SWAP project.
Full of energy from the visit, we proceeded on 14 January with the first review meeting of the project. It was a great pleasure for the consortium to discuss our work with our very dedicated project officer as well as with the designated technical expert. We are excited to continue our work towards the development of a standard for swapable batteries for light category vehicles.
